After the Minnesota Wild lost by a score of 9-1 to the St. Louis Blues https://www.storeminnesotaonline.com/Cam_Talbot_Flag-99, a team that is about to crater to the will of opposing general managers and sell off some rental skaters, a glimmer of hope shone through the cloud of shit. Over in Iowa, the AHL Wild were facing the league top team in the Chicago Wolves. Beyond this matchup in a weird shortened season for the minor league, Matt Boldy was making his professional hockey debut. One of Minnesota top prospects, the 2019 first-round pick signed his entry-level contract after his season with Boston College came to an end last month. After a quick quarantine and some practices, the powerful winger was ready to make a statement to the organization and hope for some time in the NHL before the regular season ends. Well, he certainly did that by scoring the Wild third goal in the first period; a rocket one-timer on the powerplay that sent shockwaves to the heart of GM Bill Guerin Matt Bartkowski Hoodie. Boldy couldn help himself, seeing former national teammate Cole Caufield get on with the Montreal Canadiens AHL affiliate, the Laval Rockets, with a big performance coming from the miniscule forward. So he went ahead and got more points. Teaming up with the Wild top defenseman prospect to give Iowa the three-goal lead is something prospect lovers dream of. Not only did Boldy earn some key points and contribute to our concept of him playing in the Wild top-six forever, but he was making moves like a mad man https://www.storeminnesotaonline.com/Zach_Parise_Pillow_Cover-213. The 20-year-old wasn backing down from the league best, but making it known that he is ready for the next step. Boldy with the spin move to shake loose of the defender and send a pass out front of the net. With the contract signed, the first year of Boldy ELC has already been burned, so Minnesota might as well see what they have in him at the NHL level after a few more appearances for Iowa. Wel see where it goes from here, but everything Boldy put on display last night, the Wild can use more of. Iowa plays Chicago once again on Saturday and then has three games next week including a mid-week matchup against the horrific bottom-of-the-division Rockford Ice Hogs. With a flick of his wrist and more impressive passes, we might be seeing Boldy sooner rather than later.

The Dallas Stars entered the game tonight with nine left on the schedule, and a back-to-back set on home ice versus the Carolina Panthers. Home ice has been kind to the Stars this year theye 12-6-8 at the American Airlines Center. The road has been less forgiving Curtis Robinson Face Mask, and with the Stars closing out the season on a seven-game road trip and their playoff lives hanging in the balance, making hay one last time at home was desperately needed if the Stars want to keep in this tight race in the Central Division. They did just that tonight, and now will need to see if they can turn around and do the same less than 24 hours later. FIRST PERIODEverything was coming up fabulous for the Stars in the first period tonight. It started early when Jamie Benn got hooked on what was going to be the first breakaway of the night just 16 seconds into the game. That gave Dallas an early power play opportunity, and Jason Robertson crashing the net got James Reimer discombobulated to the point where Joe Pavelski was able to clean up the loose puck to the side of the net and bank one home courtesy of the traffic in front. Carolina would push back after that. Theye top of the division for a reason, after all. But at even strength, the two teams were basically dead even according to Natural Stat Trick. The scoring chances were split evenly 50/50 between the two teams. But the quality of those favored Dallas heavily. Dallas took a 6-3 advantage in that department, finding time and space in those valuable parts of the ice. That why it really wasn much of a surprise when Dallas was able to extend that lead to 2-0. However, that goal wasn without a little element of surprise to it. Esa Lindell let a shot loose from the point that stayed low to the ice. It seemed to hit Jason Dickinson skate as he was in a kicking-esque motion and deflect past Reimer https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Nate_Hairston_Flag-569. That movement wasn considered intentional, though, so Dickinson goal was a good one. Dallas managed to keep that lead even with a couple of power play chances by their opponent, even with a rarely-sighted Miro Heiskanen slashing penalty with a little over two minutes left in the period. The Stars were able to block the shooting lanes, and Heiskanen was even sprung out of the box when his penalty expired, ending the first frame on a rush chance by the defenseman. SECOND PERIODThings weren as peachy for the Stars in the second period, though. The two teams played fairly evenly for the first seven minutes, lulling fans into a false sense of an easy win heading Dallas way. But that wouldn really be Stars hockey, would itMax McCormick managed to pop the first goal in off a shot that looked more suited to the baseball diamond than the hockey rink. He managed to keep the stick below the crossbar, and found space between Jake Oettinger and the net. About three minutes later, the Stars were staring at a tied game courtesy of Jaccob Slavin. Andrew Cogliano got stuck out on the ice without a stick, and the wily defenseman made sure to take advantage https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Jamaal_Charles_Flag-445. His shot was a particularly pretty one, picking the far corner over Oettinger shoulder when he came out to play the shot aggressively from his net. Then, Jamie Benn entered the chat. The Stars captain had been playing a very good game. In fact, he had registered assists on both fo the Stars goals and seemed to be driving his line to dangerous looks each time he was on the ice. After the Stars allowed the first goal, he was pushing to regain that two-goal lead. While he wasn successful that way Jordan Leslie Pillow Cover, he did setup the eventual game winning goal by Denis Gurianov. As the play developed off of a neutral zone turnover forced by Benn intercepting the puck with his skates, he spotted Gurianov streaking down the wing side. He hit him in stride perfectly through all of the Carolina and Dallas players, finding an open seam cross-ice, and Gurianov absolutely blasted home a one-timer to give the Stars a 3-2 lead. THIRD PERIODDallas looked like they were going to shut down the Hurricanes in the final 20 minutes. Though the scoring chances heavily favored Carolina (chasing a game can do that in the last period of a game), the Stars didn really seem to be turtling into protecting the lead. They did look dangerous at times, and managed to test Reimer a few times. Oettinger stood tall when they needed him to. Carolina is a deadly team, and that period showed why. The team from Raleigh, which is fighting for their own playoff positioning trying to stave off the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning atop the wouldn be put away that easily. They took advantage of a miscue with the puck by the Stars in the neutral zone. With nobody covering the trailing defender, Jani Hakanpaa blasted one past Oettinger to tie the game with a little over three minutes remaining in regulation. Hakanpaa also managed to put Roope Hintz into the corner pretty hard late in the game. Hintz had been looking like he was primed for a great scoring chance until the Carolina defender made that play. With his status constantly at ame-time decision and no penalty on the play, fans in the building let the refs and the player know that action was not appreciated. OVERTIMEThus, the Dallas Stars found themselves in that oft-visited game situation this season: overtime Malik Reed Face Mask. Carolina seemed to dominate the puck possession time. But thanks to the Stars defensive play, they never registered a shot on goal. On the end of a shift that lasted 1:40, Robertson made a strong defensive play and then went nearly 200 feet the other way, setting up the fresh legs of Benn for the winning goal. Benn finished the game with one goal and three assists, tying the franchise record with Mike Modano for most overtime goals. Robertson scored two assists (both primary) and pulled closer to tying Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov in the rookie scoring race.

The Blues have a few options on defense for next season https://www.stprostoreonline.com/Niko_Mikkola_Pet_Jersey-227. Despite the loss of Alex Pietrangelo in free agency, theye extraordinarily deep on defense. Torey Krug, Colton Parayko, Justin Faulk, Marco Sandella, Vince Dunn, and Carl Gunnarsson are a top six that many teams would be thankful to have. None of these players are of Pietrangelo caliber, but their combined skillset is probably enough to get the Blues over the hump. Before anyone says anything about Faulk, I assuming that he has a better season next year. That is not a giant bar to leap. Torey Krug was signed not as a replacement for Pietrangelo, but because while he a different type of player, he still a high-quality player. He offensive, he good on the power play, and it not hard to close your eyes and see him and Parayko quarterbacking each of the team power play units. It also not hard seeing them together on the team top pairing, as suggested by NHL. com Mike Zeisberger:I like a potential Krug-Colton Parayko defense pair. Krug (5-foot-9, 186 pounds) is all about speed and would be an ideal complement to the much bigger Parayko (6-6, 230), who I feel is underrated, especially when it comes to his play in the defensive zone. Parayko physical style and defense-first attitude would allow Krug the freedom to skate up the ice and be creative, which is one of the things he does best. Such a setup would allow Marco Scandella and Faulk to form the second pair. Scandella (6-3, 212) would take care of the defensive end and allow Faulk (6-foot, 217) to jump into the play. When your top two pairs are Krug-Parayko and Scandella-Faulk, it seems like an ideal fit for 5-on-5 play. That very contingent on having Faulk jump into the play effectively, but again, I think that Faulk deserves the very season is a clean slate benefit of the doubt. My good friend James Orien over at ProHockeyTalk. com has a different way of approaching the situation. He wants to mix and mingle - he suggests not putting Krug and Parayko together even strength, and he thinks the Blues need to lean heavy on Vince Dunn:As of this moment, 24-year-old defenseman Vince Dunn lingers as a restricted free agent. If I were an opposing GM, I blow up Armstrong phone to find out how much the Blues actually value an underrated defenseman. That because, based on an earlier look at the Blues depth chart, Rutherford indicated that Marco Scandella and Justin Faulk are likely to grab the second pairing roles, pushing Dunn down to the third. This sure seems like a mistake, unless Armstrong believes he can pull off a ump-and-dump trade to get a mulligan on the entire Justin Faulk era. Now, sometimes you run into a chicken-and-the-egg argument with underused defensemen Scott Stevens Flag. Maybe Vince Dunn laps up the cushy minutes, and would shrink in greater assignments. The Blues should think long and hard about finding out what more Dunn can do, as much as anyone else though. James whole piece, including the number-crunching, is a worthwhile read. Chances are strong that the lines will begin how Zeisberger suggested, but the Blues might be well served to keep eyes on that pairing. Even if all gears click, there no harm with trying something new. Dunn going to be a key piece of the Blues defense regardless of where he placed, and his new salary, whatever that might be, will reflect that. Regardless of how you look at it, Parayko number one in Doug Armstrong eyes (subscription required), which opens up an entirely new discussion on contract terms and any potential trade down the line https://www.stprostoreonline.com/Brendan_Shanahan_Pillow_Cover-104.

You would think it would be tough to be pessimistic about a team coming off a division championship for the first time in 12 years Brett Kern Pet Jersey, but here we are. The Titans had a disastrous offseason last year and have started this one terribly with Mike Vrabel naming Shane Bowen the defensive coordinator. Vrabel and Bowen had no idea how to draw up a defense in 2020. What makes us think that is going to change in 2021Anyway, that is not the point of this post. The point of this post is that the Titans actually won some awards for their 2020 offseason. They are awards for being bad, but no award is a bad award. . . wait that not how the saying goes. The awards I speak of come from Football Outsiders. Their ll-Keep Choppin Wood Team shows some of the biggest disasters of the last season https://www.tennesseefanstoreonline.com/Morgan_Cox_Flag-551. As you might have guessed Vic Beasley and Isaiah Wilson were both mentioned in that post. Here is part of what they had to say about Beasley:When Beasley eventually did show up, he underperformed, recording only three solo tackles, no sacks, and not even a single pass pressure on 125 snaps across his first five games. Per SIS, Beasley was the only player with more than 27 pass-rush snaps but no pressures. The Titans eventually released Beasley and the Raiders signed him. He had no sacks for them either, and just one tackle in over 60 snaps on defense. Oh, and then there is Isaiah Wilson. I don need to quote for you what they said about him because you already know about that https://www.tennesseefanstoreonline.com/Julio_Jones_Pet_Jersey-472. I know we all love Jon Robinson, but he needs to be A LOT better this offseason.

It appears that the Houston Texans are not the only ones at odds with quarterback Deshaun Watson. In a Facebook post Tuesday night, Houston attorneyTony Buzbee disclosed the litigation that claimed Watsonwent too far in a statement to Fox 26 after a lawsuit claims sexual assault allegations against the former Clemson and current Texans quarterback. The Facebook post read the following:I am extremely proud to represent those who have no perceived power against those who have PERCEIVED power. Things are changing in this country, in this great state, and in this great city. And I feel like its for the better, for all of us! Today we filed suit against Deshaun Watson. Too many times women have put up with behavior that we all know no one should put up with. Should we make excuses for the famous Or those who hold special positions https://www.houstongearonline.com/Artavis_Scott_Pet_Jersey-252, or quarterbacks on a local professional football team I dont think so! All people are equal, and all deserve dignity and respect. My dad was a butcher. My mother drove my school bus and worked in the snack bar. Knowing what I know now: My momma had more dignity in her pinky finger than most executives or coaches or politicians or famous athletes have in their whole bodies! This case we just filed against Watson isnt about moneyits about dignity and stopping behavior that should be stopped, NOW! Stay tuned for details. LET ME SAY THIS. Im a Marine. First-Year Weapons Will Help Lawrence Ease Pro TransitionJaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has every weapon he needs to command a potent offense as a rookie, playing under a rookie NFL head coach. Watson took to social media around midnight to defend himself. As a result of a social media post by a publicity-seeking plaintiff lawyer I recently became aware of a lawsuit that has apparently been filed against me, Watson said. I have not yet seen the complaint but I know this: I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect. The plaintiff lawyer claims that this isnt about money, but before filing suit he made a baseless six-figure settlement demand, which I quickly rejected. Unlike him, this isnt about money for me -- its about clearing my name, and I look forward to doing that. The Texans responded around 11 a. m. We became aware of a civil lawsuit involving Deshaun Watson through a social media post last night. This is the first time we heard of the matter, and we hope to learn more soon. I realize that the pro-days of Florida and LSU were yesterday https://www.miamigearonline.com/Reid_Sinnett_T_shirt-102, and wee all losing our minds about how fast Kyle Pitts and JaMarr Chase ran. I understand why that is happening. That has more to do with the Dolphins first 1st round pick. At the moment, I still unsure who I want the Miami Dolphins to take with the 6 pick in the draft. I don think Chase will be there, and Sewell has been my guy for months, but man Pitts is starting to look like a guy you can pass up. Wel get to that pick in the coming weeks. I want to discuss the Dolphin's other 1st-rounder, the 18 pick. As men and women of this planet, we live our lives as just as we can. We, as humans, get to determine how we live our lives. In essence, we get to determine what standards we want to live by. What codes we want to honor, what rules we wish to follow. If youe a person worth their salt Lynn Bowden Jr.Hoodie, then you govern yourself by rules that only bring the best out of yourself. That admirable. But not being willing to change, for even a moment, is not always a prosperous way to live. Sometimes, you need to go the other way and go against your belief system to get better. That ideology is what I applying to the 18 pick. Taking a running back in the first round is not a way of life I have ever believed in. The evidence doesn support doing it. Wee seen a plethora of late-round to undrafted backs have very successful careers. So the rule of not taking a running back with a 1st round pick is, typically, a good one to always follow. Until the Dolphins began running a type of Ponzi scheme where they always will have multiple first-round picks in every draft, yes, I know they only have one next year, but there a lot of time between now and then to acquire a second one. The Dolphins also don have too many glaring holes to fill. Outside of an edge rusher, the Dolphins have at worst adequate starters across the board. What I saying is that for the first time in decades, the Dolphins have a solid, talented roster up and down. Not only that, but after this free agency period, they have pretty good depth. Will their overall depth get even more bolstered through the draft Absolutely https://www.miamigearonline.com/Zach_Sieler_Pillow_Cover-655. The way the Dolphins are acquiring the number of picks every year makes them a depth factory every year with the idea that some of those picks end up being quality starters if not stars. With all that said, the Dolphins need to make it a point to break my rule, no shatter my rule, and draft him with the 18 pick. You can consider it a luxury pick if you want, and if you did, you be right. Whatever you call it, you can call it a pick that will pay off dividends right from the get-go as long as the Dolphins actually give Najee the ball and don try and treat him like a guy who can only get like 6 carries a game to start. The Dolphins finished 22 in the league in rushing, with several guys being asked to run the rock. Some of those guys like Breida and Howard are gone because they didn have it. Others like Gaskin and Ahmed showed they could play. Gaskin especially showed he belongs and that he deserves to be part of the Dolphins backfield. He can be the number one guy. I sure there will be some out there that will try and say that he had a 4. 1ypc and that he missed a few games and still put up good numbers. If you can see that he a classic back that needs to be part of a tandem, I don know what to tell you. I think Tua development needs to be mentioned as well. Stone Cold Brian Flores mentioned the other day that theye making a playbook geared more towards Tua strengths. What a novel idea. I have to imagine that if youe making a playbook towards Tua strengths, then making life easier for him would be a priority. Know how you make life easier Run the ball. Here a little football 101 from a guy who a back-to-back freshmen football coach champion. Running the ball makes it easier to pass the ball. Is your mind blown I bet you never heard that before, but it true. And Najee Harris can run the ball and pretty much do anything he wants on a football field. I know we remember what he did in the playoff game this year when he skied over that Notre Dame player. But Najee does it all. That not an overstatement. He can catch the ball (recording 43 receptions last year) and is a very willing blocker Andre Patton Pet Jersey. He also portrays himself as an intelligent guy, knows how to joke around and actually be funny, and can carry himself well in a conversation. Some times you get to interview some one where you just don want it to end. I could ask Najee Harris questions for days. He great. Really interesting on coming back to Alabama this year and what he learned. Also, don say his name incorrectly. You might be saying that being funny, being able to joke around, can speak well doesn mean anything. I say youe wrong. It means he probably, emotionally stable. That important; if you don think it is, go find Isiah Wilson. Having Najee on the Dolphins will allow Tua and the offense to do so many things regardless of what pass-catcher they draft if that what they do at 6. Being able to churn out more first downs on short-yardage situations and run the ball in the red zone would be major in taking the Dolphins to the next level.

The Titans and Jaguars are set for their second meeting of 2020 this Sunday after playing a thriller in week two. Jacksonville hasn won since week one, positioning themselves firmly in the race for a top quarterback prospect this spring. Tennessee sits at 8-4, still atop the AFC South. They dropped a tough one to the Browns last week after digging their own grave in the first half Justin Simmons Pet Jersey. They now have an opportunity to bounce back against the Jaguars, who have actually kept things decently competitive on the scoreboard recently. Jacksonville gave both the Browns and Vikings a scare in the last two weeks, coming up just short of wins in both games. They did the same to the Packers just four weeks ago. The Jaguars have dusted off Mike Glennon and inserted him into the starting lineup https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Mctelvin_Agim_Pillow_Cover-547, but this team is still powered by undrafted rookie James Robinson. We already know about Robinson, who put up 102 yards against the Titans in week two. Vegas obviously likes the Titans here on the road, listing them as 7. 5 point favorites. However, the Jags have covered in four of their last five games to move to 6-6 overall against the spread. The total is set at 52. 5. Just four weeks remain in the regular season, and with the AFC playoff race so tight, every game is obviously vital. The Raiders and Ravens are currently on the outside looking in at 7-5 Nate Hairston Pillow Cover, ready to pounce if anyone slips up. The Titans close with the Jaguars, Lions, Packers and Texans. Getting win No. 9 is an absolute must on Sunday can the Titans cover the spread in the process
